The “Create Your Own” Noodle Bowl is definitely a must try at Noodleholic. You get to choose from their selection of soups, noodles, and 2 toppings, with the option to add on as many more toppings as you would like!
Soups range from mild to spicy and include the basic chicken or beef broth, as well as more complex soups like Tom Yum or Szechuan Spicy.
Noodleholic has almost every type of noodle you can think of, including udon, egg noodles, vermicelli, and ramen noodle to name a few.
The toppings you can choose from are endless. Different cuts of beef, pork, and chicken as well as seafood items like Basa fillets and mussels can be chosen. If you are looking for healthier options, you can choose from a variety of vegetables like enoki mushrooms, bamboo shoots, and tofu puffs. The combinations are endless!
Creamy, Spicy Curry Laksa and Tender, Braised Beef Brisket
Our first time at Noodleholic was amazing. When we first sat down, they provided complimentary barley tea to start while we took our time to build our own unique noodle soup.
After going through an extensive list of ingredients, we we’re recommended one of their most popular soups, their Curry Laksa Broth. The curry laksa broth is one of their medium spicy broth choices. It actually wasn’t too spicy because the soup was perfectly balanced with coconut milk!
One of the toppings that we chose, however, was the star of the show. Noodleholic’s beef brisket are thick, juicy, and tender slices of braised beef that melt in your mouth. We don’t think you can find thick pieces like this anywhere in Edmonton. Each piece absorbed the spicy and creamy laksa broth very nicely to make the perfect bite.
Our second topping was the tofu puffs, which made an excellent choice as it also absorbed all the flavour of the broth.
